Overview
City of Nisswa, MN has not adopted the MN State Building Codes.
However, the City of Nisswa's City Code mandates the use of a land-use permit is approved for all new structures or any change in structure exterior dimensions. Nisswa City Code § 4.13.8 (Land Use Permits). See pages 141-142 of the pdf document.
Nisswa City Code mandates construction to be in accordance with standards of building industry but mandate compliance with MN State Plumbing Code as well as MN Electrical Code. Nisswa City Code § 4.6.5 (Building Standards), subdivisions 1 and 2, (Found on page 59 of the pdf document).
